Dermology Review
Dermology is a company that was founded in 2002. Since then they have researched to prepare products for various skin ailments that people face such as anti-aging, cellulite, and acne. Dermology says that they are “dedicated to providing safe and effective products that help people supplement their lives.”
We were intrigued by this mission and also by the fact that Dermology says they are on the cutting edge of innovative products due to their dedication to this mission.
Despite the fact that Dermology says they have numerous scientists researching the most effective treatments, it was extremely difficult to find information on their acne product. The website was dedicated to selling the product rather than explaining how it works or what makes it so effective.
If they have so many researchers working on developing new products it would be interesting to read the results of their studies to help determine the effectiveness of their product.
Can Dermology Really Heal Acne?
Because Dermology does not post information regarding their products on their websites it is really quite difficult to determine whether or not Dermology can have an affect on acne.
Their acne treatment is a topical treatment that is supposed to heal blemishes from the source so that it can get rid of current blemishes and prevent future blemishes from occurring.
Dermology is for mild to moderate acne. One thing that was intriguing about Dermology is the fact that they claim it can clear spots, pimples, pus, blackheads, whiteheads, and redness. Most acne treatments can heal only one or two of these problems so you end up needing to use several different creams or systems.
Although we would like to say that Dermology can heal acne it is difficult to determine because we are unsure of the ingredients that are included. It looks like it is made up of mostly antioxidants.
How Does Dermology Work?
Dermology uses antioxidants to clear up mild acne. The reason this works is because the antioxidants can eliminate the free radicals that cause acne. Free radicals are caused when a bond splits that has an unpaired electron. Usually this does not happen but when it does one of two things happens.
Either the body destroys the molecule that has an unpaired electron or it essentially steals an electron from another molecule which causes that molecule to go into a state of unbalance. As you can imaging, something like this could start a chain reaction until there are many molecules that have been effected.
Free radicals like this have been known to cause acne and so acne treatments that use antioxidants can be effective in healing acne.
Conclusion
Dermology seems to be a newer product on the market. The company does not have years and years of history so we can’t tell right now the effect their products have in the long term. However, if you have mild to moderate acne, using an acne treatment system that has antioxidants could very easily help to clear your acne if it is caused by free radicals.
